Question 1

What does E7 Engineering actually install?

Accepted Answer

Electrical distribution, Extra Low Voltage, fire protection, earthing and lightning protection, security systems, and the testing and commissioning that closes each of those out. Most packages arrive as a subcontract from a main contractor or an M&E consultant.

Question 2

Why bundle ELV with the electrical package?

Accepted Answer

Power and ELV compete for the same physical space, running through the same risers and containment routes. One contractor holding both scopes removes an entire category of coordination dispute between separate subcontractors.

Question 3

Do you take on government and public sector work?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Woodlands Checkpoint (FCC1–FCC4), DSTA Changi East C12A, Blk 8000 Integrated Facilities at Changi East, the 4-in-1 rail and bus depot at Tanah Merah, Tuas Water Reclamation Plant C4A, and the Lim Chu Kang integrated facilities.

Question 4

Can you work in live, operational facilities?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The UMC 12iP3 wafer fabrication plant was a working cleanroom while CCTV and card access went in, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital is a live healthcare environment — both required installation sequencing that kept the facility running throughout.

Question 5

How large a project can E7 Engineering take on?

Accepted Answer

981 dwelling units at Tengah Park Contract 1B, and 552 units across three 24-storey blocks at Pine Grove, Bukit Timah, give the clearest picture of scale. On the infrastructure side: Punggol Digital District and Tuas Water Reclamation Plant C4A.

Question 6

What happens at the end of a package?

Accepted Answer

Inspection and functional testing of every installed circuit and field device, commissioning to verify performance, then defect rectification, reinstatement, handover documentation and final system verification.

Question 7

How do I get a quotation from E7 Engineering?

Accepted Answer

Email sales@e7enggs.com.sg or call +65 6988 8934. For tender pricing, send the electrical and ELV specification, single-line diagrams, layout drawings and the programme.
